Longstaff Cycles is a world renowned frame builder. Their extensive engineering expertise extends to the creation of bikes, trikes and tandem trikes that provide mobility and independence to the physically and mentally handicapped.

The CYCLON trike helps both children and adults to overcome their difficulty in riding a bike; thereby providing a degree of mobility and independence perhaps not previously experienced.

The extra stability of a trike provides confidence due to not having to put feet on the ground when you stop. You are then safe in the knowledge that any balance problem you may have is not going to contribute to you toppling over.

There are varying degrees of disabilities that can be catered for; we have never failed yet to put someone onto a cycle. Many of our existing customers were born with handicaps like Downs Syndrome, cerebral palsy, brittle bone disease, autism, epilepsy, deformed limbs or hands, etc.

Others have developed physical problems in later years such as MS, polio, suffered a stroke or brain tumour. There is also the people who have suffered accident damage to the body including amputees and people with brain damage
